Ayanda Ncwane’s love letter to husband Sfiso

‘How I wish someone could just call me and tell me, I am having a bad dream or it was all a prank,’ she writes.

Late gospel legend Sfiso Ncwane’s widow, Ayanda, on Thursday, on their wedding anniversary, penned a heartfelt love letter to her husband. She recounts their good old days, from the day they got married until he died late last year.

“Thank you my husband for the greatest memories in my entire life. We could be celebrating our 10th year anniversary today. But God’s plans were different. I will forever deeply love you. And the more I realise you are never coming back home, I begin to fall in love with you over and over again.”

All Ayanda wished for was to hold her husband once more and just tell him she still loved him.

Though it was difficult to get over his death, Ayanda said she and their two sons were soldiering on and doing their best to fulfill his wishes.

“From me your wife, MaGumede it was a pleasure sharing our marriage life with you. Rest well, my love. Till we meet again, sthandwa sami,” she said.
