Guess you’ve heard, the iconic generations actress Connie Ferguson finally bids farewell to the soapie. The long rumored news about Ferguson’s departure come to reality as the generations family confirms this.
According to a statement released by soapie’s producers on its website, the much-loved Connie Ferguson will be departing to attend to a personal project. The statement reads:
“It is with great disappointment that we have to announce the departure of the much-loved Karabo Moroka‚ played by the talented Connie Ferguson. She’s working on a couple of projects that need her undivided attention and has asked to be released from her contract. Generations.

The beautiful south African actress has been known for her role as soap Generations’ Karabo Moroka for about 16 years. She also acted as Mavis Mabaso in Rockville which she created with her husband.
